12 Arguments Evolutionists Should Avoid, Part 1

Answers in Genesis has compiled a new list of things that are easily refutable. This time, they're attacking common arguments made by "evolutionists" (by the way, the term doesn't actually exist anywhere outside of creationist circles). So, here's the first argument that "evolutionists" should avoid: that evolution is a fact.

The problem is that evolution IS a fact, and here's why. Evolution is defined as a change in the allele frequency of a population over time. Boom. This is an observable FACT. We know through observation that over time the traits of a population can change, sometimes to the point where the changes are so great that the population undergoes speciation. These things are FACTS, confirmed by evidence.

Unlike what AIG says, evolution is not a framework built on assumptions about the past. There are no assumptions. Evolution has been confirmed by not only every branch of biology, but branches of science reaching out as far as geology. Science does not make assumptions, science does not find facts to fit conclusions. It finds conclusions to fit facts.

God, however, is a different story.
